Each piece of Rubyblue Jewellery is made by hand and your order may take from 1-4 weeks to fill (with the exception of custom designed jewelry, which may take up to eight weeks to complete), depending on availability. Please contact us for additional information regarding the availability of a specific item. Please be sure to include the item name and style and any other information relevant to the jewelry in question. We will contact you via email as soon as possible in regards to your inquiry.
Once you have placed an order, we will send you an email confirmation regarding the items availability and a delivery date for your order. Rubyblue Jewelry will send an email confirmation upon shipment of your order, including any relevant tracking information.
All orders within Canada are shipped via Express Post or UPS Courier and will require a signature upon delivery. Shipments will be made to the address on the order (postal boxes are excluded).
Shipping costs are $15.00 anywhere in Canada. For orders outside Canada, please contact us to arrange for alternative shipping.
At Rubyblue Jewellery it is very important to us that you love your purchase and we put a lot of care into every design that we create. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your jewelry, you may return it to us within fourteen days of receipt for a full REFUND, CREDIT or EXCHANGE. (please note that Rubyblue Jewellery does not refund shipping, handling or insurance costs) Please contact us first by email at orders@rubyblue.ca or by calling 905-835-0999 or toll-free 1-866-435-0999 to inform us of your intention to return an item and then mail it back to "RBJ" with its original receipt.
All returned jewelry must be in its original, unused condition without missing, broken or exchanged gemstones and the finish of the metal unmarred. Any jewelry that has been altered, blemished, used / worn or broken is not eligible for a refund, credit or exchange unless the damage occurred during the original shipment or were flaws due to a fabrication error. Rubyblue Jewellery will only issue refunds by cheque.
For your security please ensure all jewelry being returned is securely protected and packaged and insured for its full value. Please retain your shipping slip and tracking number. Rubyblue Jewellery is not responsible for jewelry damaged or lost during shipping.

Exchanges may also only be made within 14 days of receipt. The same policies apply to both exchanges and returns. Be sure to contact us first to make exchange arrangements, as Rubyblue Jewellery cannot guarantee the immediate availability of the desired exchange item.

Jewelry that is created as a special order or custom design is considered ordered on a commission basis, and not returnable. Rubyblue Jewellery's guarantee is that the delivered jewelry will match the final design you approved, including metals, stones and dimensions. (please note that all hand made jewelry may differ slightly due to the nature of the art and minor intrinsic variations in materials ie : stone shapes and depths).
Any standard item that is customized to suit your desired specifications (adding gemstones, engraving, etc.) is considered "commissioned" and is not returnable.
Rubyblue Jewellery takes pride in workmanship and places great emphasis on providing quality jewelry. We guarantee our jewelry for a period of one year from the date of purchase. We will be happy to repair your item free of charge during that period of time (excluding shipping, handling and insurance charges incurred by sending the item to Rubyblue Jewellery and having it returned to you).
Please be sure to ship the item in appropriately protective packaging and to have it insured for the full value, along with a cheque for return shipping costs.
Please note that Rubyblue Jewellery maintains the right to refuse free reparations for items it deems to have been damaged as a result of mishandling or inappropriate use. If the damage is due to regular use or defective workmanship, Rubyblue Jewellery will gladly fix or replace the item at our own discretion. Rubyblue Jewellery's guarantee does not cover any chain repairs, but quality control testing will be performed on the links and clasp prior to shipping to ensure their quality.
